Publication in the Selin magazine
For the nature issue of Fienfh Magazine, I created a photo series exploring the complex relationship between humans and animals through the lens of hunting. It’s both a tribute to the animals that sustain us and a reflection on what it really means to take a life.
The story of Elara
I created a character named Elara to show the beauty and respect that can exist within hunting. What mattered most to me was showing how she treats the animal with care, awareness and gratitude. She only takes what she needs and makes sure nothing goes to waste. Every part of the animal is used and she always takes a moment to honour its life. Through her, I wanted to show that hunting is not just about survival but about being connected to nature and taking responsibility for the life you take.
