A brand new online footprint

mBuy is a boutique media agency that helps brands find their target audience and create smart media plans. They make sure your message lands in the right place, whether that's online, on TV, radio, outdoor ads, or in print. From strategy to execution, they help your brand show up at the moments that matter.

How it started

mBuy wanted a fresh, dynamic design that reflects their boutique identity. The goal was to create a website that's not only visually appealing but also communicates who they are: an independent, strong, and approachable company that's always ready to help. The challenge was designing a site that feels as elegant and warm as the service they provide, something that reflects their personal touch and boutique character.

What we did

Together with Rosa Knippenberg, we designed a calm, elegant website with a hotel-like atmosphere. We wanted to make visitors feel like they're entering a space where all their needs are taken care of. We chose a soft blue color palette with orange accents. The blue reflects the owner's favorite color and matches the details found in the mBuy office, giving the site an authentic and cohesive feel. The orange provides contrast, drawing attention to key buttons and guiding visitors toward the most important actions.Down below you'll find the presentation I made to explain our design choices and the reasoning behind them. We prepared it for the owners to present our plan before starting the development of the website in WordPress.

The faces behind mBuy

With the launch of a new website, I saw an opportunity to refresh the company's visual identity and proposed doing a business photoshoot. I planned two types of shoots. The first was a duo shoot with the two owners, taken in their office to create a warm, homely atmosphere. It's where they felt most at ease, and it reflects how they work. As close friends, I wanted to capture their connection, just two down-to-earth people running a business together.

The second shoot focused on individual portraits of each staff member. These were clean, minimal, and more stylized. Since they were intended for the website, I aimed to show the balance between the company's approachable culture and its professional side. The contrast between the relaxed duo shots and the polished portraits communicates both: real business, with a human touch.
